I keep this thing on my desk at work and it is so much better than just having it flat or in my lap. I can see who is calling or texting me without even picking up my phone. It also makes it easy to feed my charging cable into it through the hole in the back of it.

 

I also use it to watch YouTube by laying my phone horizontal on it. It is made out of metal and is great quality. I highly recommend it to anyone who works at a desk. And you should definitelyget a spare charging cable to feed through the back of it and just have it always be there.
